The Oni Gauntlet worn by Samanosuke absorbs souls from defeated enemies. There are five types of souls, each serving a different purpose. Understanding which souls to prioritize for defense is key to surviving difficult encounters.

For a defense-focused build, green and blue souls are your top priorities, with purple souls providing a powerful emergency option.

Green Souls - HP Recovery

Green souls are the most important soul type for survival. Each green soul absorbed restores a portion of your HP. The amount recovered depends on the enemy defeated, with stronger enemies yielding larger green souls.
